The Royal Kennel Club announced, on Thursday 25th June , that they had accepted the Silken Windhound as a recognised breed. They will join the 'Imported Register' Breeds from 1st October 2026, and can be shown, from that date, pending the agreement and publication of the Interim Breed Standard.

We are thrilled with this news, and hope we can soon process our registrations with the RKC, and then register our upcoming litter with them too!  We will, of course, continue to register with ISWS, to keep the DNA Verified database alive and well.
