About Sturtmoor
Sturtmoor was established by Marcia Dovey in 1974, when Camille was 2 years old. Marcia had been showing dogs for several years before the kennels were built, by her husband at the time, Arthur Dovey. Marcia's main breed was Estrela Mountain Dogs, but these were preceded by Pyrenean Mountain dogs, a breed that Camille has enjoyed handling over the last two years.
Camille Lambert has been involved with Norwegian Buhunds since the age of 10 years. She has taken part in various canine activities over the years, including showing, obedience, agility, and currently has fun racing her Silken Windhounds at fun events. With Showing being her main interest for all her life, she has exhibited in various countries and handled for others (including at Crufts and Westminster (in the USA). Camille is a small time breeder, having had 6 litters spanning a period between 1984 and 2019, of which 5 have been Norwegian Buhunds. After 41 years of being involved in Norwegian Buhunds, this will be the 6th, and last, Buhund litter. Camille is planning to spend more time with her Silken Windhounds in the coming years. |
